The Dude then appears in Lower Paradise again, where he is hired by Vince Desi to enter Bullfish Interactive to retrieve a Gold Master CD of Postal 2. The policeman reappears and assigns the Dude the Super-fun Pigeon Hunter Mission, which is never shown due to budgetary reasons as told by the Vince Desi (The dev) in a FMV cutscene. Halfway through, he is attacked by vegans. After, a police officer likes his style, and hires him to kill cows infected with mad cow disease. The Dude leaves the hospital, and a group of zombies appears. The head shot also gave the Postal Dude hallucinations, in which he sees distorted versions of the places he is in, and with Gary Coleman-esque creatures attacking him, some of them having diseased cow heads instead of their own. He also receives notes saying that his trailer has been taken away, and that Champ is in the Dog Pound to be "put asleep" on Sunday. On Saturday, the Dude wakes in the Hospital, where he receives a note from the Bitch telling him she has decided to leave him. The Postal Dude then proceeds to shoot himself in the head so he can stop listening to his wife. After the Dude manages to go back to his trailer, the Bitch asks him if he remembered her Rocky Road. After completing all the errands of Friday, the Paradise Times releases a special edition that announces the beginning of Apocalypse. The Dude manages to enter, and in that moment the ATF breaks into the compound. On Friday, is Uncle Dave's birthday, and the Dude proceeds to go to the Compound, where Uncle Dave's cult is taking place. There is no one attending, so he goes to the back room, where some Butchers triturating people alive. After, the Dude wants some steaks, so he goes to Meat World. Once he manages to gets it, a major explosion destroys the factory and The Dude must get out of the factory. On Thursday, the Dude notes that the weeds in his garden are getting too tall, so he decides to buy a Napalm Launcher. On Wednesday, the Dude goes to the Cemetery and piss on his father's tombstone, but he is knocked out by rednecks, who have changed his clothes for a Gimp Suit. He goes to the Paradise Mall, where Gary Coleman gives away autographed copies of his book " What I'm Talkin' 'bout", the Dude gets his copy, and Police arrives to arrest Gary.
After that, the Dude must get eight signatures for a petition to " make whiny congressmen play violent video games get into TFR", which makes threaten civilians sign. On Tuesday, the Dude confesses his sins, he goes to the Church, but a group of Taliban terrorists arrive, so the Dude must face them to escape.
After getting his check, once he returns, the Bitch gets him do more things for her. When the Dude is fired and a video game-protest mob for decency began, so did his second reign of terror. He now lives in a trailer with his pet Champ and his wife The Bitch. He has moved out from his original home to the town of Paradise after accepting a job at the Running With Scissors video game developer company. After passing out, he is confined to a mental institution, but seemingly he is liberated by 4 other Dudes looking like him but with differently colored coats (red, blue, yellow, and green), and then he gatecrashes his own funeral, with the 4 other Dudes seemingly dead next to his grave and "The Demon"'s voice now being his. Through the game, it is hinted the voices he hears are not really his, but something he refers to as "The Demon". This drives the Dude into seemingly a psychotic break, as he then runs to a nearby school and tries to shoot the children there, but to no avail only sees his weapons as useless and doing nothing to them. He eventually gets to and destroys the source of this at the Air-Force Base, but the infection doesn't stop. He begins as a secluded man recently evicted from his home, whos thinks that something has infected everyone in the city but him everyone seems to be mad and thirsty for blood, and now that he can no longer bunker from them in his fortress, it's his job to Cleanse this world.
